Ascension: The rising movement of one toward a higher degree or state of being.

An elemental place of serenity and peace, not easily arrived at and far from the ordinary; this home is the embodiment of a personal journey to greatness.

  Welcome to the Ascension. This broad craftsman style home promotes kinship and tranquility with its mountainous stature, broad scenic vistas and all encompassing design. The family that finds itself within these walls will be hard-pressed to find a reason to venture outside them. The generous iterations of rooms and vast living space between them give full endorsement to a young family’s growth and development. Flexible rooms allow the management of all events on the social-scape, be they grand life changes or small casual get-togethers, accommodations can be made. While this home seems to appear from afar as a traditional ranch, of great reach and zeal, it offers so much more. This home is designed to incorporate all of life’s little moments. The intricate geometry of this plan allows the rooms to fit together in a way that maximizes square footage and the illumination of natural light. The strategically placed windows bathe the interiors in a rich sanctimonious warmth while the clean lines and transitional finishes add a simple logic to dealing with day-to-day life as an active family. In the distance a coffered-box-beam ceiling rests above a dining area glowing with light, flanked by double islands and a wrap-around kitchen, they make every meal at home inclusive. The kitchen is composed to entertain and promote all types of social activity; large work areas, ubiquitous storage and very few walls allow any number of people, large or small, to create or consume comfortably. An integrated outdoor living space, with it’s large fireplace, formidable cooking area and built-in BBQ, acts as an extension of the Great Room further blurring the line between fabricated and organic settings. Other interests of the main floor consist of a centrally located exercise room with scenic forest views. A study off of the Great Room, which means neither work nor family must suffer the other’s agenda. Lastly, the oversized 4-bay garage is any automotive enthusiast’s dream whether it be used to rebuild, repair and restore or to house the family’s fleet of vehicles and vessels. Another highlight of this home is the fortified retreat of the Master Suite and Bath.
