This year the annual Clark County Parade of Homes will be hosted at the beautiful new addition to the Camas Meadows Golf Club – The Parklands at Camas Meadows. This new housing development has it all. Steps away from contemporary shopping experiences, an award winning Golf course, beautiful views of both the towering Mt Hood and the serene Lacamas Lake.
The Parklands at Camas Meadows will host the 2018 Clark County Parade of Homes.

On Wednesday January 24th the crowd huddled under a large tent, enjoying refreshments from blank & blank softly buzzing with excitement as announcements began. Big thanks were given to Danielle Killian the Building Industry Association’s Event Director for working hard every year to bring the show together.
Everyone was eager to discuss the next level of luxury homes to be presented this year. Seven (7) award winning home builders will be participating in the event: Soaring Eagle Homes, Axiom Luxury Homes, Sam Vilhauer Construction, Doriot Construction, last year’s Best of Show winners Generation Homes NW, and last years most awarded builders (that’s right – us!) Cascade West Development, Inc. for a total of ten (10) jaw-dropping homes.
(SPOILER ALERT: If you loved The Turtledove from 2017 then you won’t want to miss the revamped and expanded version we’re debuting this September!)
Of course this event wouldn’t be possible without everyone involved, the generous sponsors (NW Natural, Homestreet Bank, PROBuild, Banner Bank, Camas Meadows, Cascade Sotheby’s, Chicago Title, Fidelity National Title, Dick Hannah Dealerships, Ferguson Enterprises, First American Title Company, Jordan Ramis PC, Parr Lumber, Peak Mortgage, Stewart Title, Umpqua Bank, US Bank, WFG Title and more)
Mayor Scott Higgins from the City of Camas, “We’re really excited about this Parade and what I heard as Tony was speaking is ‘everything is bigger and everything is better at this year’s Parade of Homes’ …and I have to think that has something to do with the fact that it’s in Camas Washington.” “I think we waited and I think we got the right one! I think this is going to be a spectacular Parade. It wouldn’t have happened (because of lots of challenging issues) but also if it were not for a very supportive city council and an amazing staff.” “I must say, I’ve made a ton of promises on the City’s behalf (without checking with them) and they have completely risen to the occasion!”
“I think that sometimes the staff does not get the appreciation they deserve – so thank you to Camas Staff and thank you to a very good and honorable development team who have been a pleasure to work with in the city.” – Mayor Scott Higgins
Kevin DeFord, of Mark4Fund Investments, “I’d like to bring a couple of partners that are here up, Aaron Barr and Mark Zoller and actually there is another partner that I owe a lot to as well. His name is Ross Miles. Without these guys I’m nothing and it’s not just me — it’s our entire group. So, a huge thank you to these guys as well!” “I would also like to thank the City. All of them. I really feel that their commitment to this was a strong one. This site was not easy, there were a lot of moving parts to this.”
“I would like to single out Phil Bourquin. Phil is the guy that I started with in the very, very beginning. He was very instrumental in being open to the vision that we had here. Phil deserves a lot of credit for letting us walk down the path and mold what we have here today.”
As Tony Curtis (Vice President of the BIA) delivered the closing remarks the builders grabbed their shovels to commemorate what just might be the best Clark County Parade of Homes to date!
In less than 223 days we will open VIP Night. The clock is ticking!
Almost completely off-topic — look how many canine companions drove to the Groundbreaking Ceremony to support their owners! Truly man’s best friend (woman’s too of course!)
